This proposal is for the award of a contract for Phase Two of the Parking Structure. This project consists of 2 levels above grade open Parking Structure (app. 402,503 gross square feet) with accommodations for 1,431 parking spaces and an attached on
story building for the relocation of the Public Safety department. Besides additional parking spaces to accomodate
campus growth, the structure was to greatly improve access for
people with mobility problems by making parking available at
the inner-campus elevation, thus offering an alternative to
the long wheelchair ramps now in place.
